PLM 861: Indonesian Multiple Rocket Launcher

PT PINDAD, Indonesian military factory unveiled its design of multiple rocket launcher called PLM 861 'Peluncur Rocket Modular'. The design is a direct comptetitor for a more powerful MRLS owned by Singapore and purchased from US. Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Vietnam also have their own MLRS bought from abroad such Russia and Brazil.

The rocket is fully locally designed by Minister od Research. The test was made several time and proved to be succesfull. The truck is Perkasa, the truck produced in Indoneisa.

PLM-861 launcher configuration can be equipped with 8 or 6 rockets 122mm or 200mm rockets . The launcher also could be eqioppedwith one guided missile 200mm.
